Acceptable Use & Liability Policy – HostGete

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

This policy outlines the rules governing the use of web hosting services provided by HostGete (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) at www.hostgete.com, as well as our legal protections regarding accidental data loss, server interruptions, or service outages.

1. ACCIDENTAL DATA LOSS & BACKUP RESPONSIBILITY

While HostGete performs regular automated backups for server maintenance and disaster recovery, these backups are intended solely for administrative purposes.

CRITICAL NOTICE FOR ALL USERS: Web hosting data can be subject to unexpected hardware failure, software corruption, or accidental deletion. HostGete does not guarantee the availability or completeness of any customer backups. The customer agrees to maintain independent off-site backups of all website files, databases, and emails hosted on our servers.

2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (সার্ভার ডাউনটাইম ও দায়মুক্তি)

In no event shall HostGete, its directors, employees, or third-party suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Any accidental interruption of service, server downtime, or network outages.
  • Loss of data, profits, or business reputation due to technical failures.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your website content or user data.

Our total liability to any client for any claim arising out of the hosting service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific hosting plan during the active billing period cycle.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (নিষিদ্ধ কার্যক্রম)

To maintain server performance and prevent accidental service disruptions for other clients, users are strictly prohibited from using HostGete servers for:

  • Hosting illegal materials, pirated software, nulled themes/plugins, or copyrighted content without authorization.
  • Running background processes or bots that cause high CPU/RAM usage and compromise node performance.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk emails (SPAM), hosting phishing sites, or initiating network attacks (DDoS).

4. SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND FORCE MAJEURE

HostGete shall not be held responsible for service delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to acts of God, cloud infrastructure failures, ransomware attacks, main network fiber cuts, or government regulations.
